Classes

Victory Fitness Center offers a variety of safe, fun, and effective group fitness classes throughout the week, mornings and evenings, to fit your busy schedule.  We look forward to adding many more classes to the schedule as our membership increases.  We welcome you to join us!

 

CardioMix Classes: Jam-packed workout for those who like variety - Zumba, Hi/Lo, Step Aerobics, Kickboxing, Bootcamp, Core , Plyometrics, Calesthenics, and more...all in one hour . Every ten minutes, you will be on to something new.  Eight-week session begin September 2010.

  • Wednesdays, 6 :45- 7 :45 p m , September 8 - October 27, 2010, Victory Fitness Center, 4 Elton Street.  Primary Instructor: Rosalind Walker.
  • Saturdays,9:00- 10:00 am , September 11 - October 30, 2010, Victory Fitness Center, 4 Elton Street.  Primary Instructor: Rosalind Walker.

Forever Fit Classes at Valley Manor (1570 East Avenue): Low-impact cardio, toning & stretching performed at half pace that can be done either standing or seated.  The mean age in this class is 85 years young! All are welcomed.  Class meets on Tuesdays & Thursdays 9am-10am.  This class has run continuously since May 2006.  First visit is free.  Cost: $7/class billed at the end of the month according to your attendance.  Instructor: Rosalind Walker.  Call (585) 370-2480 for more info or get more info at this link.

 

Zumba Gold Classes at Oasis' Lifetime Care location (3111 South Winton Road): Ditch the workout and join the party.  ZUMBA Gold is a fitness program specifically designed to take the exciting Latin and International dance rhythms created in the original ZUMBA and bring them to the active older adult or the beginner participant that may need modifications for success. This class is for those over 50 years old! Senior Pilates Classes at Oasis' Lifetime Care location (3111 South Winton Road): Gain strength and flexibility with Pilates! Pilates is a form of exercise, developed in the 1920's by Joseph Pilates, which emphasizes the balanced development of the body through core strength, flexibility, and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement.  This class is for the active older adult over 50 years old or the beginner participant that may need modifications for success.   This workout is a great complement your other workouts.  All are welcomed.  Class meets on Mondays 9:45am-10:45am, September 13 - November 22, 2010.  Cost is $50 total for all classes.  Instructor: Rosalind Walker.  Call Oasis at (585) 730-8800 to register or get more info at this link.
